The Writing Production [Pilot Edition]

Legal Terms and Agreement

Learning Producers, Inc.

Effective Date: July 20, 2026

By enrolling and remitting initial payment, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service. The Writing Production is a pilot program using the Combat Writing methodology. It includes three live sessions (phone or video, up to one hour each), completed within sixty (60) calendar days of your initial payment. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Failure to appear for a scheduled session forfeits that session. This is a professional development program. It does not provide accreditation, certification, or work-for-hire content creation.

2. Payment. Structured for mutual commitment. Both parties assume risk.

INDEPENDENT: $200 total. $100 due on enrollment, $100 due within seven (7) days of the final session.

TEAM (up to five participants): $400 total. $200 due on enrollment, $200 due within seven (7) days of the final session.

If the success criteria (Section 3) are not achieved, the final payment drops to $50 (INDEPENDENT) or $100 (TEAM). To claim the adjustment, send written notice within seven (7) days of the final session, referencing the established criteria and explaining the shortfall. Learning Producers, Inc. honors good-faith assessments. The adjustment exists to uphold mutual accountability, not to provide refunds based on preference or disengagement.

Initial payments are non-refundable unless Learning Producers, Inc. fails to deliver the Service as described here.

3. Success Criteria. Before the first session, both parties define specific, measurable success criteria for the piece. The final payment obligation is judged exclusively against those criteria, never against subjective satisfaction with the process. If criteria cannot be mutually agreed, either party may end the engagement with no final payment owed.

4. AI Processing. The methodology requires processing your submitted drafts through multiple third-party AI platforms. By enrolling, you authorize that processing, confirm you hold the necessary rights to all submitted material, and accept that the platforms' own terms and data practices apply and are outside the control of Learning Producers, Inc. Your own use of AI tools in drafting is optional and entirely at your discretion.

5. Ownership. Your writing is yours: before, during, and after the program. Automation frameworks and applications built from our collaboration stay with you and your organization. The Combat Writing methodology and all Learning Producers, Inc. materials remain the property of Learning Producers, Inc., licensed to you for personal or internal business use only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial exploitation requires written authorization.

6. Conduct. Direct critique is the method. Threats, harassment, or abusive behavior end participation immediately, without refund.

7. Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learning Producers, Inc. is not liable for business or writing outcomes, decisions made from the work, or the behavior and outputs of third-party AI platforms. Participation is voluntary.

8. General. These terms are governed by Illinois law, with disputes resolved in Illinois courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Learning Producers, Inc. may update these terms. Updates post to this page, and continued participation constitutes acceptance.
